One of our existing customers, a New England nonprofit, recently relocated into a rehabilitated office building. They asked us to design an open concept layout with contemporary finishes for 30 employees. They stressed to us that as a nonprofit, they had limited funds to spend on furniture and turned to us for cost savings solutions.
We came up with a contemporary, durable, hybrid look by using both remanufactured and new furniture components. We combined remanufactured panels, drawers and cabinets with new workstation tops. We gave each station partial privacy by installing frosted glass screens. Not only did our design provide an open concept look; the contemporary finishes complimented the other finishes in the building and provided plenty of storage options at each station.
